We had great fun making pancakes today. They were delicious!

We really enjoy going to the ICT Suite to complete various activities each week. ( as long as the headphones work!!)
P1R3 January Fun!
We have been having so much fun learning about polar animals. We love to work hard too. :)
P2 Made Top Hat Buns
P2 had fun making Top Hat buns with the ingredients they bought in Tesco. They had even more fun eating them!
P4 Celebrate VE Day and a visit from Mrs Gillian Spence
As our topic comes to an end what better way to finish than dress up as evacuees and celebrate the end of the war. We had a great time playing games, discussing what it would be like to return home and of course having a big party to finish!
We were delighted to have Mrs McKeown’s grandmother join us to talk about what it was like for her during the war. The pupils listened extremely well as Mrs Spence talked of being evacuated from London..
P4 Castle Ward WW2 Trip
The P4 year group had an exciting start to the new term with a fun filled trip to Castle Ward to experience what life was like for an evacuee.

Term 1 ends and Term 2 begins! P1 R1
We loved our Christmas Party! A huge thank you for all the yummy treats that were sent in- the P1s had a feast! Term 2 has begun with the topic of ‘Winter’, and the P1s are busy learning about the Season, using numbers up to 10, and starting to use their sounds to spell out their own words.
P1R1 Christmas Presents- Show and Tell!
The P1s did a fantastic job of showing talking about their Christmas presents. From dancing toy horses to light up Duplo, it was a very exciting day!
P2 Go Shopping
P2 walked into Holywood as part of their new topic “Our Town’. They looked at the different shops and buildings. The children went into Tesco and bought ingredients to make buns to sell in their class supermarkets.
P1R3 Show and Tell!
The boys and girls brought in their favourite Christmas present. Everyone in our class spoke so clearly and confidently. We enjoyed hearing what everyone had to say!

Postman Pat visits P2!
P2 had a visit fom Mal the Postman, he showed a DVD about Lenny the letter and answered lots of questions. The children were excited to meet his friend Postman Pat!
