HPS Swim Ireland Success

A huge well done to Abigail on her fantastic efforts and achievements at the Irish Schools Swimming Gala held in Dublin on Sunday 29th March.

Abigail qualified for the finals at the Irish Minor Nationals in Dublin after some super races and times in the preliminary rounds.

On the day Abigail swam hard in the heats to get into two finals where she placed 3rd in Ireland in the 50m breaststroke and 5th in Ireland in the 50m butterfly for 9 year old’s girls. These results give her national rankings with some excellent PB’s. Well done again Abigail on an incredible achievement, representing the school so well and being an HPS Superstar!

HPS Swimming Success!

A massive well done to Abi in P5 who represented Holywood PS at the Ulster Schools Swimming Gala at the weekend!

In what was an extremely competitive field Abi got an amazing Silver in breaststroke and a fantastic 4th place in butterfly in the two events she was competing in. Her success means she has qualified for the Irish Schools Competition in Dublin in March in both strokes. 

Huge congratulations to Abi for representing HPS so well and her wonderful achievements!
