Our Boys' Hockey team performed so well at the North Down Qualifiers.
They played 5 matches. They drew 4 of the matches. They had scoreless draws against Towerview PS, Rathmore PS, Abbey PS and drew 1-1 with Sullivan Prep.They won the match against Londonderry PS (3-0).
They played Sullivan Prep in the Semi Final. It went to penalties. The boys had played without a goal keeper until this point. Well done to Harry who volunteered to put on hockey pads and kickers for the first time ever! Sullivan Prep managed to get one more than us which meant the boys did not progress any further in the competition.
What a great morning. The boys showed great spirit and had a very positive attitude throughout. Mr McConnell was very impressed with their efforts especially because all the boys are rugby players or footballers!!
