Many thanks to everyone who came along to support the Christmas Fair this afternoon.
We certainly couldn't have anticipated a power cut during it but the Fair did go on! We really appreciated the items donated for the various stalls this week. We are so grateful to the fabulous parent volunteers, family friends and Priory College pupils who helped to set up earlier today, man a stall and / or help to tidy up extremely well afterwards (in the dark!).
It was so encouraging to see a number of new faces on the PTA team today along with the familiar HPS faces too. It simply made everything so much easier! A special mention to Kellie Shimmin and volunteers who have been working really hard to prepare for the Fair over a number of weeks. Their teamwork ensured everything ran smoothly and hopefully allowed parents to relax while the boys and girls had great fun. Thanks also to Kellie Grant for co-ordinating the great raffle prizes too which were generously donated by local businesses and families closely connected to HPS . We have managed to get a provisional total for the Fair this afternoon. Less expenses for the day, we are in the region of ***** £2100 profit ***** WELL DONE EVERYONE!
