We were delighted to be contacted by Corries Meats in Holywood to tell us that P5 pupils Ben & Oscar had been named as finalists in their ‘Create a new sausage flavour’ competition.
The boys had the opportunity to visit Corries shop with their grannies and make some sausages using the ingredients they had thought of! It was lovely to hear that the butchers said Ben & Oscar did really well and were a credit to HPS and their parents.
Please try to pop in and buy some of their sausages which are on sale in Holywood for the next few days. Ben's teacher, Mr McConnell was very pleased to sample Ben's creation too!
Thanks to Corries Meats for their generous prizes. As well as the opportunity to go to the workshop to make the sausages, the boys got a bag of treats and a voucher. Ben, Oscar and their grandparents had a lovely morning!
