The girls’ and boys’ hockey teams each had a great day at the North Down Hockey competition. The girls started with a narrow defeat to Towerview, before bouncing back to defeat Donaghadee 1-0, in a close fought match. They then played a skilful Abbey and resolute Crawfordsburn (the two finalists!) but couldn’t get past their stern defence. In their final game, the girls played Ballymagee and came out 1-0 winners in a very tight game. Well done to all the girls ……Sophie (Capt), Sophia- Rose, Charlotte, Lottie, Beth, Olivia, Taylor and Philippa.
