Pupils of Term 1 2020

The boys and girls are taught to appreciate the importance that our school places on treating each other with kindness and supporting each other. That’s what the HPS team promote every day.

Well done to eight pupils who have shown acts of kindness that were noted by various members of staff this term.

Finley (P7)

Finley noticed something very important that belonged to someone in his class had been dropped in the hall at the end of the school day. He made Mrs McGonigle aware of it and offered to go after the pupil to give it to them before they went home. Well done Finley, you were very thoughtful.

Joshua (P4)

Joshua kindly helped to run a Google slideshow to help Miss Riddell and his class when they were recording their song for the Christmas celebration of Carols & Readings.

Charlotte (P5)

Charlotte regularly offers to help tidy up at the end of Breakfast Club each morning. Mrs Forster and Mrs Nelson really appreciate this.

Sam (P1)

Since the beginning of Sam's time in P1, he has been incredibly helpful each day. He does this without being asked and makes Miss Armstrong very happy!

Thomas (P7)

Thomas has lovely manners. He stands aside for adults to go past and also holds doors open to let others through. Well done Thomas!

Charley (P3)

Charley always notices if someone is without a friend or is worried about something. Charley gets help from an adult. Well done Charley for being a kind friend.

Eva & Lily (P7)

Thanks to Eva and Lily for being very helpful when they distributed the dinner registers for a number of weeks this term. Each morning they greeted the Office staff with a BIG smile, a cheerful 'Good morning' and were most polite when completing their role. Thanks girls!
